| Early this morning, Mastic Volunteer Ambulance Company was proud to assist our brothers and sisters at Mastic Beach Ambulance Company by providing EMS coverage for the Annual Smith Point Sprint Triathlon at Smith Point County Park in Shirley.
The annual event featured a 500-meter swim, 10.2-mile bike ride, and 5K run, bringing together athletes and spectators from across the region for an incredible day of competition.
We are honored to work alongside the many EMS, fire, law enforcement, and public safety agencies that help ensure the safety of every participant and spectator throughout this event. While crews were assigned to the triathlon, Mastic Ambulance Company also maintained in-house crews ready to respond to 911 emergencies throughout our district, ensuring our community continued to receive the high level of emergency medical care it depends on.
A special thank you goes out to C4 Energy for graciously providing drinks to our members, helping keep our crews hydrated and ready to serve during today's event.
We wish congratulations to all of the triathletes who crossed the finish line and thank everyone who helped make this year's event another safe and successful one.
